These terms apply when you use the Shift app or this website, provided by Shift (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using Shift, you agree to them.
Not medical advice
Shift creates general training and nutrition plans from the information you give it. It is not a doctor, physiotherapist or dietitian, and nothing in it is medical advice. Talk to a qualified professional before starting a new exercise or diet programme — especially if you have an injury, a medical condition, are pregnant or have recently given birth, or have a history of disordered eating.
Stop exercising and seek help if you feel pain, dizziness, chest discomfort or shortness of breath. You train at your own risk and are responsible for using proper form, safe equipment and suitable loads.
Your account
- You must be at least 18 years old to use Shift.
- Give accurate information — your plan is only as suitable as what you tell it.
- Keep your sign-in details safe. You're responsible for activity on your account.
- You can delete your account at any time from the app.
Early access
Shift is currently in early access. Features may change, break or be removed, and the service may occasionally be unavailable. Plans and suggestions are generated automatically and may contain mistakes — use your judgement.
Grocery comparisons
Prices, availability and delivery times come from third-party stores and can change at any moment. Shift shows them for convenience; your purchase is made with the store, on its terms.
Acceptable use
Don't misuse Shift: no attempts to break, overload or reverse-engineer the service, scrape it, or access other people's data.
Our content
The Shift app, brand and content belong to Shift. You can use them to train and plan for yourself; please don't copy or redistribute them.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Shift is provided “as is”, and we are not liable for injuries, losses or damages arising from your use of it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be limited.
Changes and ending
We may update these terms; if a change matters, we'll tell you in the app or by email first. You can stop using Shift and delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India.
